At Century21 Northumberland Realty (1987) Ltd, a corporation registered in Prince Edward Island, Canada (referred in this document interchangeably as “us”, “we”, “our”) accessible from century21pei.com our priority is to protect your privacy. This Privacy Policy document states what types of information we collect, how we process it, what we use it for, why we need it and for how long we keep it. Your access to any of the above listed websites is conditional on your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy then you do not have permission to access or use this website.


This Privacy Policy applies solely to our online activities. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any offline information that we may collect in the course of serving your real estate needs.

While using any of the above websites you may choose to request information from us about any property, or service we provide, using one of our website contact forms. We ask for your name, phone number, email address and to provide any additional information in the message section of the form that would better assist us in serving you. We will only collect information you provide. By including and filling out any form on any of our sites you are providing consent to use that information to contact you and, if you consented by checking the consent box, to adding you to our mailing list and retain your information for the purposes of contacting you or direct marketing.

The above information, your name, phone number, and email address, are necessary to make contact with you to answer your question(s) and further serve you. If you choose to withhold any of the required contact information, this will reduce our ability to communicate with you and to provide such information as you requested.

We  store the above information on servers supplied by Vultr and managed through the Cloudways platform. Your information may be stored by either or both of the following companies in accordance with their privacy policies.

We use SSL encryption on all our sites to afford protection of your data during transmission to and from our servers and those of our third-party contractors. It should be noted that no security methods are foolproof and data breaches are possible. We do however ensure that any third-parties that we contract to handle your data have privacy policies in place indicating that they take your data security and privacy seriously. We have no direct control over how these third-parties operate and we must take their procedures on trust.

A cookie is a small piece of data that is downloaded onto a visitor’s computer for the purpose of storing certain information about the actions you have taken while on the website. This cookie can be read back should you revisit the same website again and the information contained used to tailor a custom experience while on that site. Most cookies are website specific, ie website1 can not read website2’s cookies and vice versa. There are some cookies used in remarketing that can be read across domains.

Overall the purpose of cookies is to supply a better web experience including “remembering” that you are logged in, storing information about your preferences and interests so that content can be tailored to you, as well as more general purposes such as counting visitors, how long they stay on the site, their operating system, device, browser etc.

Under no conditions can a cookie give access to your computer. You can turn cookies off in most browsers or set the browser to delete cookies after each session. This can have an effect on your experience on many websites.

We use a cookie to remember that you agreed to CREA terms to view their content (real estate listings). If we didn’t use that cookie you would have to agree every time you viewed another page. This is for your convenience. This is a session cookie that expires when you close your browser window.

Children’s Privacy

Our websites are intended for a general audience and we do not offer products or services targeting anyone under 18 years of age. Should we be aware that a minor under the age of 18 has contacted us or sent personal information we will only use that information to contact the minor for the purposes of advising him/her that they should not use our website(s).

Direct Marketing

We only use direct marketing where we have the recipient’s direct consent to do so. That consent can be withdrawn at any time by clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE button at the foot of any email. As stated above all direct email marketing is handled by Mailerlite and a link to their privacy policy is included in this document.

We do not use social media pixel beacons. We do not use social media logins to gain information about our visitors.


We do use Google Analytics on this site. Google will process general information collected when you visit one of our sites. This may include time, duration of visit, operating system, device, browser, pages visited, and other behaviour recorded when visiting one of our sites. While this information is not user specific ie none of the above would identify you, there is no way that we can determine with certainty how Google may use the information beyond supplying us with basic user statistics. You may access Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy . If we did not use Google Analytics we would lack the statistics to manage our websites.

Further we use the services of Cloudflare to process DNS, as well as using their CDN services. Cloudflare keeps certain statistical information about your use of our websites. This information is very general and is non-identifiable. If we did not use Cloudflare services our websites would not work as efficiently. Our websites are hosted from Vultr servers and managed by Cloudways server management software. We need a quality supplier of servers (Vultr) and we need well managed servers (Cloudways) to ensure that our websites perform efficiently as well as being well maintained and secure. Both these third-parties may store generic non-identifiable information about visitors in log files. Your Rights

Under many countries’ privacy legislation you have the right to access any data or information that we hold about you. You have the right to rectify incorrect information. You have the right to erasure of your information. You have the right to restrict processing. You also have the right to data portability.

None of these provisions applies in terms of the data we collect and how we use it. We do not store your data. It is used to answer your real estate queries only and if you consent, to add you to our mailing list. In the case of members of our mailing list, their basic information is held by our email processor, Mailerlite, but may be deleted by unsubscribing using the link in any email, subject to the privacy policy of Mailerlite.

Exercising Your Rights

Under the CCPA Privacy Rights (Do not Sell my Information) California consumers have the right to request and receive all information that a business may have about them. Under this online Privacy Policy we will never have more than name, email, phone number and any messages that they have sent to us by contact form or email.
